L. E. Hatlen combines his fascinating life experiences with his passion for intrigue, history, and a good love story to write romantic suspense. Over the years, he has been a research biochemist, house renovator, small-business owner, Coast Guard reservist, lay minister, and nonfiction author. His debut novel, Queen’s Ransom, is the first in a planned trilogy about the fabulous Hansen sisters and the men who love them. When he isn’t writing, he enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling, especially road trips in his wicked-quick, red Audi TT coupe.
